Descriptions
The Project is for the provision of a new build Primary and Nursery School for Braidside Integrated Primary School, Ballymena. The site is immediately adjacent to the current school, currently occupied by Castle tower School. The works comprise a new 14No Classroom school and single nursery, demolition of existing school building, car parking, footpaths and associated soft / hard landscaping site works at Fry's Road, Ballymena. The Contract will be the NEC3 Construction Contract 2013 Option A, Develop and Construct, Priced Contract with Activity Schedule.The new facility (circa 2 500 m2 inc. Nursery and SMA) will cater for the long term educational needs of Braidside Integrated Primary School's 440 pupils and will replace their existing inadequate and out-dated facilities at their Fry's Road Site, Ballymena.The accommodation will be as per the DENI handbook. Other associated works include, demolition of existing school, provision of car-parking facilities, hard-standing, play areas.
