Bridgend County Borough Council would like to invite Providers of learning disability services to an information session regarding our future intentions for the delivery of supported living services.The Council's vision, as set out in the Council's Corporate Plan (2013-17), is to work together to improve lives within the county borough. This will be achieved by working together to ensure that people are healthier, benefit from a stronger and more prosperous economy, are engaged and empowered to achieve their own potential and that the county borough is a great place to live, work and visit. As such, we are looking to work with providers that support and promote our objectives of delivering asset based services, which embrace person centred and co-production approaches in order to enable, empower and support service users to live as independently as possible.This session will give partners the opportunity to find out about the exciting remodelling programme and explore the challenges ahead.The event will take place on Friday June 26th 09:30—12:30 at the Innovation Centre, Bridgend, CF31 3NAThere are 25 places available, therefore a maximum of 2 representatives per organisation may attend and places will be allocated in order of the date interest is registered.
