Descriptions
The Employer’s Agent will oversee and administer the Design and Build contract for Britannia Phase 2b on behalf of the council, and will operate as part of the Council’s design and construction client monitoring team. They will provide professional expertise in post-contract management and administration of the building contract, management of the building contractor to ensure that all of its contractual obligations are met, and give general advice and support to the Project Director on all aspects of project management, contract management, and construction, during both the construction and defects management periods.They will provide regular reports to the Council on all aspects of the Design and Build contract and process, including progress against programme, and risk and opportunity management including risk mitigation strategies to protect the Council’s interests and reputation.
