Broadcast Production Equipment - Sound and Production Desks Framework.

The BBC is seeking to establish a roster of non-exclusive framework agreements for the supply of a range of various types of sound and production desks at various times and in various quantities to facilitate and support its on-going operations. These will include sound mixers and related equipment to service the full range of BBC requirements including edit facilities, local radio studios, network radio studios, TV gallery sound desks and major multi-channel music consoles.The BBC will be looking for products whose solution architecture is conventional (ie., co-location of all system components using analogue or TDM-based technologies) and whose solution architecture is ViLoR (centralised remote mixing using IP-based technologies).The framework will include provisions for associated system components, consumables, accessories and maintenance/service support packages for the equipment/hardware.The purchasing of products will vary from small ad-hoc requirements through to large volumes, as required.
