We are looking for a destination to work closely with VisitBritain to host VisitBritain Business Events Association Conference, 11th - 13th February 2025. VisitBritain Business Events Association Conference will bring together in one place international association meeting planners, professional conference organisers and decision-makers from nations and city convention bureaus. The aim is to: •Provide a platform for Britain destination partners to meet and source new business events opportunities from attending event organisers •Facilitate workshops which will include educational seminars, learning journeys, 1-2-1 meeting and key networking opportunities. •Promote destinations on an international scale and educating association buyers on intellectual capitals, services and venues available across Britain •Provide valuable insights and resources to support both partners and associations, highlighting VisitBritain's commitment to growing the business events sector. The event will include content tailored to address current destinations and associations' needs (such as ambassador programmes, legacy and positive impacts, DEI, environmental sustainability, AI, as well as business events research & key trends) and will place an emphasis on interactive engagement to encourage networking opportunities and the exchange of best practices. The Association Conference is hosted by VisitBritain in partnership with VisitEngland, VisitWales and VisitScotland. The event in 2025 will be the second association focused event VisitBritain has organised, following the success of the 2024 edition which took place in Edinburgh, Scotland. VisitBritain would like to hold the future editions of the event in either England or Wales, in order to rotate the event and showcasing clients all the nations. there won't be any hybrid or virtual components.
