There is a requirement to complete the government returns which requires the Council to estimate the impact of outstanding rateable value appeals on its estimated income. r r The Council needs to understand and calculate its future income risk in terms of reductions in rateable values. r r The provider will analyse the outstanding business rates appeals data and provide the Council with a comprehensive review and report of potential changes to rateable values and loss of income for both retrospective and future changes. This should be available on a case by case basis and include the valuation category, financial year and individual property details, where appropriate.
