Birmingham Women's Trust is looking to award a contract for the provision of Automated Blood Grouping Analysers.The range of tests will include, but is not limited to, the following:— ABO and RhD grouping for adults (full and check) and neonates;— 3 or 4 red cell antibody screen by IAT;— DAT;— Antibody identification panel, to include both enzyme treated and IAT cells;— Secondary identification panel to include Rh D negative cell panel and c negative cell panel;— Weak/ Variant D typing;— Miscellaneous red cell phenotyping;— Titres;— Serological Crossmatching.The contract will include equipment, consumables and maintenance.
