The Trust wishes to identify independent providers of a one week duration driving licence category (C1) training programme. This must comply with the objectives set out by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA). This must enable students to attempt their C1 driving test at the end of a one week training programme. The provider would be expected to deliver the training in their own vehicles which should have the appropriate insurance and vehicle maintenance schedules. The provider would be expected to ensure all instructors are compliant with the DSA’s continued ability and fitness to give instruction check test.
