This Framework contract is for the delivery of the Leadership and Management Development Workshops in Wales for the contracting period of 1 April 2010 to 31 March 2014, with the option on the part of the client to consider an extension to the contract for 6 months and an additional 6 months if necessary.The Workshops will support the development (and planning) of management and leadership roles required to deliver a client organisation’s objectives. This supports the Welsh Assembly Government’s view as set out in The Skills that Work for Wales that Leadership and Management are critical to long term business success and aspirations for the long term development of the Welsh economy.Successful tenderers will be required to deliver training workshops that are mapped against the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Leadership and Management. The NOS describe the level of performance expected for a range of management and leadership functions. Delivering a structured programme based on the NOS will allow individuals the option of unit accreditation and/or full qualification across all levels of the Management and Leadership Framework.It is a mandatory requirement that tenderers have in place Centre Accreditation from a recognised body for the Leadership and Management education they deliver.Successful tenderers will be measured in terms of performance against the European Social Fund set targets.
