Cadw requires a Project Manager with demonstrable commercial acumen/experience of commercial activity within the public sector, a detailed knowledge and understanding of public sector procurement and a proven track record in the articulation of strategy and implementation of workable solutions.The project manager will:Carry out a strategic review of Cadw’s existing commercial activity, analysing existing commercial activity and mapping out opportunities.As part of the review, will explore options for Cadw’s commercial activity by analysing existing rate of returns, benchmarking and investigation of similar business operations.Draft a commercial strategy for Cadw which is based on the opportunity to generate optimum income whilst maintaining transparent and compliant approach to procurement.Produce, as part of the commercial strategy, an implementation action and sales plan and take the leading role in the in initiation of the plan, constructing contracts and overseeing their initial implementation.The Project Manager will be expected to work at Plas Carew, Parc Nantgarw, Cardiff, CF15 7QQ but a small element of flexible home-working can be arranged in agreement with Cadw. Travel to sites across Wales will be required
