Caerphilly Castle Improvement Works - Early Contractor Involvement

Cadw, the Welsh Government’s historic environment service, is looking to enhance the visitor experience at Caerphilly Castle through a programme of works to regenerate the site to include the refurbishment/remodelling of the Great Hall and the construction of a new build Visitor Centre.To maximise this opportunity, Cadw wish to begin early contractor involvement to appoint a main contractor at the beginning of the process.The estimated total construction budget is approximately £3.6m to £3.9m. The anticipated construction start date will be during the second quarter of 2021.
