Caerphilly Castle Visitor Centre - Ground Source heating System

Caerphilly Castle currently uses an open loop moat water heat pump to supply an under floor heating system in the visitor centre. In order to improve operational and maintenance efficiencies CADW are intending to replace the heat pump unit and provide new vertical drilled ground loops as the source. CADW are seeking competent and experienced contractors to undertake the installation of the new ground loops, interconnecting pipework and heat pump unit as well as providing upgrading of the visitor centre controls. The installation works will be based on designs and specifications provided by CADW.Installing contractors should be registered with the Microgeneration Certification Scheme or other similar equivalent scheme to ensure the quality of their installations and demonstrate compliance with the requirements of the Renewable Heat Incentive scheme.Contractors must specify and name any sub-contractors they intend to use
