This is proposed as a Direct Award based on Lot 3: Laser Based Imaging Systems and Laser Components, of the APUC Framework Agreement 'Microscopes and Imaging Equipment Including Associated Servicing, Maintenance and Repairs LAB1028 AP'. This Framework Agreement was procured via the Open Procedure tendering process and advertised on Public Contracts Scotland (PCS) and in the OJEU, reference 335497-2021. This RFQ request, and Direct Award proposed is to the second ranked potential supplier on the APUC Framework Agreement detailed above. No variation to the functional specification of requirements will be permitted. Should this second ranked company on the Framework Agreement not be able to supply to the exact requirements, the third ranked supplier will be approached, and so forth.
