A contract has been awarded following a tender process for an 8 bed Residential Children’s Home for Children Looked After (CLA) aged between 12 and 17 years old based in the borough of Camden.The service has been awarded to KPMS UK Ltd. The strengths of their tender include; a model which addresses children’s trauma and supports recovery, In-house social workers at the heart of care-planning and multiagency meetings, a strong focus on children and young people achieving their full potential, they are supported to develop structured ways of living to achieve goals such as employment and training, a creative approach to developing an environmentally sustainable service with residents including ecosystems for reusing waste, well supported staff with access psychotherapy, additional staff to support the service when needed.The contract is due to start on 1st April 2024 for a term of four (4) years.
