Canterbury City Council (‘the Council’) wishes to select and appoint a suitable supplier for the provision of a park and ride bus service and invites tenderers to submit a tender to meet the Council’s requirements:Lot 1: Zero emission within the first anniversary of the commencement date – electric vehicles;Lot 2: Zero emission within the first anniversary of the commencement date – hydrogen vehicles.Note: you may propose any fuel type of vehicle until your proposed delivery date of the vehicles with the specific fuel type as described in lot 1 or lot 2 — which must be within the anniversary of the contract start date.The contract is anticipated to commence 5.10.2020 and will continue for a period of 7 years (unless terminated early in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract), and may be extended for a period of up to 1 year subject to the satisfactory performance of the services by the contractor and at the Council’s entire discretion.
