Contract locationAnglesey - Newborough forest toll entrance, toll road and beach and satellite car parks.Contract purpose•Management of Toll Barrier and Car Park•General Warden dutiesContract Specific Responsibilities•Act as the first point of contact for visitors at Newborough, providing them with information regarding safe and responsible access to the site and it’s attractions.•Be responsible for the sale of the walks pack and distribution of Newborough News and leaflet.•Be available to drive to toll barrier within 15 minutes to resolve issues with Car Park, Toil Barrier or Toilets.•Carry out weekly routine checks on toll barrier equipment.•Meet and greet contractor responsible for toll barrier and other equipment or facilities on site.•Report any mechanical faults to designated NRW staff member.•Management of vehicle access and parking during peak periods as required to enable ease of access when busy and restriction of access when the car park is full.•By appointment, be available to escort coaches through the forest to their dedicated parking area.•Open and close toilet facilities daily.-Winter period, October to March open 9am and close 5pm-Summer period, April to September open 8am and close 6:30pm*Please note that this should be done by two people, no lone working.•Replenish toilet supplies and attend to incidents throughout the day as required.•Check toilet facilities daily for any damage or faults and report to designated NRW staff.•Empty all beach car park and boardwalk litter, BBQ and recycling bins daily. Replace bin bags with ones provided by NRW, and dispose of litter in caged container.•Report any complaints from the general public to designated NRW staff.•Be responsible for the sale of season tickets, resident’s keys and any other promotional or membership schemes relevant to this site.•Follow all cash handling and banking procedures as directed by the designated NRW staff member.•Ensure that the main car park, Cwnhingar, residents, Llyn Park Mawr, Malltraeth car parks are litter free on a daily basis and report any issues such as damage to facilities, fly tipping or over-night parking to the designated NRW staff member.•Present risk assessments and method statements for all these duties.Payment Booth Contract Specific Responsibilities.•Sale of daily and annual parking passes and resident keys at rates detailed by the NRW Charging policy following NRW’s cash handling and autiding procedures.•Staff the booth for from 9 am to 5 pm from the 15th March to the 15th October and 9 am to 4 pm from the 15th October to the 14th March for 363 days of the year.•Keep accurate daily records of Visitors, (paying and non-paying).•By appointment, be available to escort coaches through the forest to their dedicated parking area.•Be available for delivering these duties, on request outside these hours as directed by the designated NRW person and at an hourly rate submitted in your tender bid.Please note that tasks may be subject to change before the contract notice goes outNOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at http://www.sell2wales.gov.uk/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=39840.
