The Council is seeking a long term partner to provide technical advice to support the Green Programme Board to identify and direct a basket of projects to achieve the Council’s Carbon Net Zero commitment. It is envisaged that this will initially involve calculating baseline emissions, followed by identifying, costing and prioritising business areas and defining specific projects to reduce emissions.The Services will be commissioned in stages, with award of each stage dependent on successful completion of the previous stage, at the sole discretion of the Council.Tenders will be evaluated based on 20% price and 80% quality.The timescale for completion of:Stage 1 is four weeks from award of contract however a preliminary draft of the High Level Strategic Road Map is required by no later than 20th September 2019.Stage 2 is to be agreed, based on the results of Stage 1 and a greater understanding of the developing WG guidance.Stage 3 is 9th May 2020, however this is dependent on the issue of WG guidance.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=94807.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility.
