Cardiff Children’s Services is working hard to develop the support we give to children who are at risk of abuse through sexual exploitation and we’re keen to hear from young people who have accessed the services, what they think.We are looking for a creative organisation which promotes the rights of children and values what young people have to say to help us.The Council is seeking to appoint an organisation to facilitate a creative project to bring about service improvement.The project will establish and facilitate a group for young people who have experienced sexual exploitation, providing a safe space to enable participants to share their views on the services they have received. The successful organisation will have worked with young people who have experienced abuse and trauma and have the expertise to be able to provide emotional support to the participants.The messages from the young people will be delivered as a creative product at a performance event so the successful organisation will have experience of working with young people through creative media and the performance arts.This is a unique opportunity to enable children who are very often kept at the margins of their communities to have a real influence on how services that affect them are developed and run.
