The Supply of care and support services at home and in the community to vulnerable people in Cornwall; to include older people/physical disability and learning disability and also 24/7 support services. Objectives to include:— Implementation of robust contracts and service specification to robustly contract manage these once they are in place;— Geographical coverage for the whole of Cornwall;— People are receiving the amount of time that the Council has commissioned to meet their needs and to ensure vfm;— People working in the sector are valued and to develop a career pathway to attract and retain staff;— To improve the quality and continuity of care and therefore improve outcomes for people using the services;— Reducing the number of substantiated safeguarding alerts and thereby improve the protection of vulnerable adults;— Alignment of commissioning with the NHS.
