The WLGA wishes, on behalf of the HRD Network, to commission the production of a careers resource, available online via a dedicated website and on CD Rom. The resource will use a combination of video footage and job profiles, to both promote Welsh local government careers and also provide a more in-depth look at the broad range of different occupations and opportunities offered by local government employers in Wales. The Objectives of the project are as followsTo develop a careers resource that can be easily uploaded and made accessible online via a dedicated website and also via local government websites and which is also available on CD Rom or similar that will:Promote local government as an employer,Enable users to investigate the broad range of different career opportunities provided by local authorities in WalesLink to specific job profiles and other resources available on the LGtalent.com website Signpost to further careers and/or employment information.
