Carmarthenshire County Council is committed to high quality leisure and cultural provision. The Council currently operate a number of facilities including Leisure Centres, Theatres, Libraries, Country Parks and Museums.The Council is considering its future management options and is keen to gauge interest in future management of the Facilities prior to commencing on a formal procurement process.As a result the Council are seeking informal expressions of interest from interested parties and have engaged RPT Consulting to advise them through the process.If this is of interest to you please contact Robin Thompson on robinthompson@rptconsulting.co.uk or 07584 486 046 to receive a briefing pack on the current portfolio.The closing date for receipt of completed responses is 6th March 2015. The Council will use the information provided to scope out the future procurement and delivery of the long term plans for the Leisure Provision across the Council. All expressions of interest will remain commercially confidential and any unique offerings or proposals will not be made available to other interested parties. If these are of interest to the Council then any future procurement process will be structured to enable these to be presented without compromising the commercial confidential nature of the proposal.Depending upon the range and number of responses Carmarthenshire County Council may select a representative sample of interested parties for follow up meetings or discussions.
