Carmarthenshire County Council Locality Based Floating Support

Carmarthenshire County Council is planning to change the way that it commissions floating support services. These are housing-related support services provided to enable people to develop the skills and confidence that they need in order to live independently in their own homes. There will be a competitive tender process to select Providers for these services in the New Year. There was an event on the 3rd November 2015, where the proposal was discussed with potential providers. At that event there were a couple of key areas that we were not able to provide clarification on. Details about this event can be found in the documents attached. We will be holding another event, on the morning of the 9th of December, as a follow up from this. This event is being held to give potential bidders the opportunity to request clarification of any areas of the tender that are not clear.
