West Lothian Council wish to source a single source supplier to maintain, repair and replace CCTV equipments for the duration of the contract in accordance to the tender documents. The contract shall be for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for up to an additional 24 months, depending on how the success of the contract, and the successful contractors innovative approach to managing the contract throughout the term. The contract will encompass the annual inspection, service and maintenance of CCTV equipment, the repair or replacement of defective equipment either following annual maintenance visit, or operational use, vandalism, etc. The contract includes for an emergency repair service providing a full twenty four hour protection 365 days a year. The amount of works instructed shall vary throughout the duration of the contract. Tenderers are recommended to fully acquaint themselves to the local conditions. The Contractor shall be responsible for arranging access to the Properties and shall give a minimum of 48 hours notice of the intended visits. All visits, works carried out shall be recorded, dated and signed by the Contractor and will be responsible for ensuring that employees sign the appropriate section of the Maintenance Register.Note: The authority is using PCS-Tender to carry out this procurement process.
