Descriptions
CCW records a significant amount of species and habitat data as part of its business and requires these records (whether collected in-house or contracted) to be entered into the relevant software package. This will facilitate meeting recognized data standards; allow the data to be used internally and externally to provide evidence for work such as, site designation, casework, reporting obligations, spatial planning etc… Entering data onto the corporate systems allows us to share and easily disseminate data to a wider audience through mechanisms, such as, the NBN Gateway, LRC’s or DAC’s, thereby assisting CCW to meet obligation to make our biological data freely available internally and externally to the public and our partners.CCW wishes to put a mechanism in place to allow us to contract out the entry of data into these systems on a “call-off” basis.
