Descriptions
The service contract is to provide technical support to cover all instruments listed in Annex A and must include: 1. Maintenance service to include annual on-site Preventive Maintenance (including parts, labour, travel and expenses) 2. On-site repair services, including 2.1 Unlimited on-site troubleshooting and repair visits (including travel and labour) 2.2 Parts, consumables and supplies required for repair, including detector lamps 2.3 Provision of appropriate loan unit (if available) if on-site repair is impractical 2.4 Response time as on-site within two working days or less of the fault being logged. 3. Other services: 3.1 Hardware and software telephone/email support within 24 hrs 3.2 Firmware upgrades 3.3 Option for software upgrades 3.4 Statement on the origin (e.g. manufacturer or generic supplier) of parts and consumables to be used for repair/maintenance.
