Central Area Council - A Service for Building Emotional Resilience and Wellbeing in Children and Young People

Central Area Council have commissioned a Provider to develop and deliver a service which offers community-based opportunities and activities to build the emotional resilience and wellbeing of children/young people. Under this contract the successful provider will be required to actively contribute to the achievement of specific objectives. These reflect the vision and corporate priorities of the Council and include:     - To build the emotional resilience and well-being of children and young people in the school years 6-9 living in the Central Council area.    - To support the prevention of children and young people developing emotional well-being issues.    - Respond to recent findings about the relationship between subjective wellbeing and mental ill-health.    - Inspire young people to become more confident and esteemed individuals.    - Enable young people to take ownership and make positive life choices. The Contract will start on 01/04/2023 and end on 31/03/2024 with an option to extend for 1 further period of 12 months. Please note the estimated value is based on all extension being granted.
