Cyngor Sir CEREDIGION County Council is seeking to appoint a provider who can deliver a reliable, cost-effective managed service for the provision of surface dressing chippings for the Council's highway maintenance programme.The duration of the contract for the supply and delivery of chippings will be 2 years, with the option to extend this period for a further year, if circumstances allow. The annual quantity of aggregate needed is estimated to be in the order of 6000-7000 tonnes, although the Council cannot guarantee that the actual figure will be within this range.For each year of the contract, the bulk of the chippings must be delivered to a number of storage sites thoughout the county of Ceredigion, ahead of the summer surface dressing season.
