Ceredigion Council is looking to increase the range of respite options available for families who care for people with a learning disability and broaden the range of option for service users themselves, in terms of taking a break/holiday.With this is mind we are holding an ‘open day’ where holiday/respite providers can come along and give information and advice on the type of breaks/services they offer.We plan to hold this event on the 20th March 2015 1pm – 5pm at the Feathers Hotel, Aberaeron.It is the Council’s intention to develop a list of approved providers that will be able to deliver respite services. In order to be considered for inclusion on the approved list providers will need to complete the Council’s PQQ process. The PQQ responses will be evaluated to make sure that all providers meet the relevant commissioning criteria of the Council.
