Child Pedestrian Training for Flintshire County Council Primary School Pupils

This is a contract for the provision of the Child Pedestrian Training in Flintshire County Council Primary Schools.Flintshire County Council are seeking to contract a company or organisation with the necessary accreditation, skills and expertise to set up, organise, deliver, monitor and evaluate the Child pedestrian scheme.Priority will be given to delivery of training to pupils in Year 1 and 2 on a first come, first served basis after all the Primary Schools in the County have been invited by letter to participate in the scheme.The Training Scheme is fully funded by Welsh Government (WG) and this will be a Pilot Scheme in Flintshire. If successfully delivered, received and evaluated by the Schools there is a possibility that the scheme may be funded in future years if successful in the annual bid process which is submitted by the Authority.In accordance with the Welsh Language Act 1993 the Local Authority is implementing Welsh Language Schemes; the successful contractor will need to ensure that services provided through this contract are compliant with the Welsh Language Scheme.Please note this project is for 1 year (April 18 - March 19) with a possible 1 year extension dependent upon funding and successful evaluation of the scheme.
