Descriptions
The Unit involves the creation of the Child Sexual Exploitation Response Unit to help local authorities when child sexual exploitation is a particular concern and in response to a high number of cases. This will ensure that specialist professionals in social work, law enforcement, and health are available to be deployed when they are needed anywhere in the country, for example following inspection, high levels of whistle-blowing or needs self-identified by an area. The Unit will co-ordinate the delivery of bespoke support to local areas.
