The City of Edinburgh Council seeks to contract with organisations to provide quality, subsidised Childcare services for children age 0- 12 yrs.This service will be targeted to parents/ carers in work-less households for whom support is required to access employment and training opportunities.It will also support those in the lowest income households as identified by the uptake of child tax credits to sustain employment and maximise income.The Council therefore seeks to improve the affordability, flexibility and accessibility of subsidised Childcare services.The provider/s should be able to deliver year round care, be able to evidence their relationship with local providers and be meeting the challenge of flexible care in the face of changing needs and circumstances.The provider will be required to provide and identify services that meet the regulatory requirements i.e. National Care Standards.
