CHI invites tenders via an open competitive tender process for the provision of image acquisition, reporting of radiographs and report distribution for paediatric Plain film radiography.To support children and young people requiring a Plain Film Radiograph, CHI is seeking providers to carry out the scheduling, image acquisition (Plain Film Radiography), reporting of radiographs and report distribution for clinically suitable patients. Patients may be aged from 0 – 16 years so the tenderer must demonstrate that they have the appropriate skills, expertise, processes, equipment and facilities to provide high quality, safe and effective paediatric care. Clinically suitable patients will be identified and diverted for treatment from CHI at Temple Street, Crumlin, Tallaght and Connolly. CHI, acting in its capacity as Contracting Authority, invites tenders from suitably qualified and interested parties that wish to participate in an Open Competitive Tender Process Agreement for the provision of this program. Plain film RadiographyNotes: -Service should include include scheduling, image acquisition, reporting of radiographs and report distribution.-Children and young people may be aged from 0-16 years.-Plain film radiography must be performed by radiographers who are experienced and skilled at performing paediatric radiography.-Equipment must allow for the use of paediatric radiation dose reduction methods. -The spectrum of experience of the radiography staff and the type of equipment to be used must be outlined by the tenderer.
