Christ the Word Catholic School opens in a 23 million GBP new build in September 2019. The school will be for 3 - 16 age range and replaces the two existing Catholic schools In Rhyl, Blessed Edward Jones Catholic High School and Ysgol Mair. We are seeking an independent provider of all year wrap around care, 8.00am to 6.00pm based in a purpose built room in the main school building. The provision will include breakfast club, preschool provision / early Years Education in the playgroup and afterschool care.We are proud of our Catholic ethos and our Welsh identity. Both the existing schools have a very strong community focus and this is a key aspect for the new school also. As a Catholic school there is an emphasis on faith and the wellbeing of learners, staff and families.
