The Citizens’ Assembly is seeking Hotel and Conference facilities for 2 Citizens’ Assemblies which will run concurrently as follows:-a Citizens’ Assembly on Biodiversity (Assembly A) comprising 100 members randomly-selected to be representative of the Irish population. For Assembly A, there will be 4 two-day meetings (Saturday and Sunday) between mid-May and November.-a Citizens’ Assembly to consider the type of directly elected mayor and local government structures best suited for Dublin (Assembly B) which will comprise between 40 and 80 (TBC) members from the Dublin region. For Assembly B, there will be 3 two-day meetings (Saturday and Sunday) between end-April and end-JuneTenderers are asked to put forward dates for each of the Assemblies, avoiding bank holiday and consecutive meeting weekends if possible. There will be no meetings in July and August. A full list of requirements is set out in Appendix 1 of the RFT document. These include:-The provision of weekend hotel accommodation (Friday and Saturday nights) for up to approximately 120 people and 80 people respectively according to the specific Assembly meeting. -The provision of conference facilities for up to approximately 150 people and 100 people respectively according to the specific Assembly meeting.-It is expected that up to 7 weekends over an 8-month period or thereabouts will be spent in total on both Assemblies. -This will entail approximately one weekend meeting every 2 weeks or so commencing at the end of April 2022 (note: no meetings will be scheduled in July and August). -Accommodation and conference facilities must be located on the one site and must be located within a 20km radius of Dublin city centre.Tender closing date in 2pm on Thursday 24th February. 2022.
