This tender for a Field emission Microscope and a direct electron detection camera for the Life Sciences department. This requirement is being split into two lots as we recognise that suppliers may need to partner up to deliver the complete solution.— Lot 1 Cryo field emission gun transmission electron microscope (cryo-FEG TEM) B and C);— Lot 2 Direct Electron Detection Camera.Site Survey — Suppliers have the opportunity to visit the proposed location of the cryo-FEG TEM to help assess the suitability of the location, any delivery issues and assess the equipment that is available for part exchange. These site visits can be scheduled from 3.11.2014 until 17.11.2014 to enable you to provide an accurate bid. Any remedial works required to the location must be highlighted in your bid and if appropriate costed as an option.
