Descriptions
London Borough of Tower Hamlets is in the process of establishing an in-house team to manage the grounds maintenance needs within the Borough. The service has identified the need for the constant supply of various consumable items. The intention is to purchase these items from the most appropriate suppliers by putting in place a Framework contract to facilitate call off orders to be placed as and when necessary.The Framework will be offered in 9 lots.Lot 1 Work wear — coveralls, rain coats, LBTH uniform, waterproofs, hi vis waistcoats etc.Lot 2 Personal Protective Equipment — first aid kits and contents, ear defenders, dust masks, face masks, facevisors, various types of gloves, sun hats and protection, degreaser, soap, eye wash etc.Lot 3 Tools and Equipment — shears, toolkits, loppers, forks, shovels, rakes, brooms, grabs, tape measures,paint brushes, saws, hoes, grabs, litter pickers, bolt cutters etc.Lot 4 Shrubs and Perennials.Lot 5 Seasonal Bedding.Lot 6 Grass.Lot 7 Chemicals — fertilisers, pesticides, herbicides, moss control, casting worm control, etc.Lot 8 Top dressing and loam.Lot 9 Mulch.Lot 10 Bulbs.Lot 11 Christmas Trees.
