Descriptions
This is a contract to deliver the next phase of the CLIConline contract. CLIConline was established by Welsh Government to provide online bilingual information and news for young people aged 11 to 25 across Wales. It introduces information in accessible formats to aid young people and professionals who work with them. It is a website that offers:a wide range of information;a multi-media format;links to Welsh Government policy areas, including; health, housing, rights and entitlements;a platform to engage with young people and gain their views on particular subjects;free information; andit provides a platform to advertise events.CLIConline follows a social media model, with interactive elements allowing for direct comments and inputs from young people as well as organisations providing services for and practitioners working with, young people. The CLIConline website hosts and supports 22 local authority managed local CLIC information websites for young people which form part of the CLIC network. Each local CLIC website is developed and maintained locally and contains national information from CLIConline. All local CLIC websites are individually branded and form part of the CLIC collective, they can therefore be updated centrally with news, information and articles of local and national interest.The Welsh Assembly Government, on behalf of the Welsh Ministers, will be conducting this procurement exercise through the etenderwales portal https://etenderwales.bravosolution.co.uk.
