Health Education England are putting out this notice as a PIN (Prior Information Notice) with a view to completing a Direct Award to Elsevier . The case for direct award can be found on the tender portal. HEE believes that it is highly unlikely for any other supplier to be able to provide the following skills/tools provided by Elsevier as a current supplier for the following reasons: 1.Elsevier, founded in 1880, is the world's leading publisher of science and health information, Elsevier serves more than 30 million scientists, students, and health and information professionals worldwide. We continuously make substantial investments that serve the needs of the global science and health communities. 2.Elsevier has access to expertise in advancing education and research in Pathology and is responsible for setting standards of training and administering examinations in Emergency Medicine in England. 3.Elsevier's operations are organized into two divisions: Science & Technology and Health Sciences.
