Descriptions

In line with the hazard reduction programme and Uranium Hexafluoride (UF6) Strategy, CNS is conducting this tender exercise for the Design, Construction and Commissioning of a new operational facility. The facility shall have the capability to sample, characterise and decant approximately 24 000 tonne of UF6. Regulatory expectations are to start commissioning and be fully operational in 2020 with an expected facility lifetime of 25 years.
