Coach Hire Services and Mini Bus Hire Services (with drivers)
Descriptions
The University of Leeds requires Coach Hire and Mini Bus Hire Services (with drivers). The contract will be awarded to a number of suppliers to generate a local framework agreement. Once established, the approved list of suppliers will be invited to quote for each opportunity. The pattern of hire services differs from month to month, averaging about £25,000 per month, with peaks in January, February and September. Bookings are normally made around 8-4 weeks ahead of the relevant event. Coach hire services are generally required for students, but occasionally can be required for members of staff and non-members of staff (including minors (prospective students)). An existing framework agreement is due to expire in 2017 and the current agreement has successful at the University, with levels of take up increasing year on year. Most hire is either to or from Leeds and is UK based. Occasional requirements are issued for international (European) trips and for trips that do not start / end in Leeds.
