The Ancient Connections project, at Wexford County Council (the Contracting Authority) invites tenders to establish a short-term Community Archaeology and Heritage Education Outreach Programme by qualified archaeology professionals/trainers/consultants/educational organisations, for the provision of an engagement programme capable of providing a range of educational and training services and outputs, based on the Archaeological and Heritage activity, in Ferns, Co Wexford and serving the outlying regions of North Wexford (incl. municipal districts of Ferns/Enniscorthy/Gorey); for participants ranging from primary school aged children to adult retirees cohorts; covering knowledge areas that include Archaeology, Built and Cultural Heritage, Local History and Pride of Place.
