Software package and information systems. Recreational, cultural and sporting services. A flexible, scalable and innovative solution to replace the current Electronic Point of Sale (EPoS) with a system that can be used by office staff and at staffed sites for admissions, new membership transactions, retail, in house catering and management of EH's stock holding. In addition to providing functionality to deliver our existing services, the replacement system will provide EH with the opportunity to expand and improve them, including the introduction of auto replenishment, improved online shopping and an improved understanding of our member and customer-base, to enable us to develop appropriate products and services in the future. English Heritage would be keen to receive returns that provide innovation including Managed Services.The solution will also be capable of future upgrade to ensure the operation can keep pace with customers changing requirements and changes in general IT trends. The system must be able to interface seamlessly with EH's existing Financial Information System (FIS) and the Customer Service System (IRIS CARE) where required.EH are looking for one supplier to provide the replacement system(s) and are happy to consider suppliers sub-contracting some elements of the solution.The contract period will be 5 years, commencing April 2013, with the option to extend for a further two years by mutual agreement with the suppliers.Suppliers are requested to complete and return a Pre Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) by 11.1.2013. Following evaluation of returned PQQs, at least 5 suppliers will be invited to tender for the contract.
