Community Enterprise Networks (CEN) is an ERDF funded project which will contribute to the long term cultural change in communities, building enterprises in areas which have seen dramatic and continuous levels of decline in traditional industries.Time Banking Wales will lead Community Enterprise Networks ensuring it is adopted as a third sector led strategic regeneration programme. The project embeds innovative methodologies for growth into local communities, resulting in the establishment and progression of six Community Enterprise Networks in the Convergence area, addressing the development of Building Sustainable Communities (Priority 5). Community Enterprise Networks will advance long term regeneration benefiting the most deprived areas of Bridgend, Merthyr and Rhondda Cynon Taff thereby progressing Community Economic Development (Theme 2).The evaluation will continuously analyse the progress of the project, the impact on the individuals and organisations involved and the effect on other projects within the wider context of promoting and fostering the growth of community enterprise.It is also intended that the evaluation will inform improvements to project practices and bids to secure future projects.The evaluation will involve examination of the following key aspects:• To what extent is the project delivering on its aims and objectives in relation to targets set down in funding contracts with WEFO?• What has been the impact on the organisations invested in?• How has the Community Enterprise Network interfaced with other projects aimed at tackling inactivity and unemployment?• What has been the impact on the communities in which the projects were delivered?• How effective is the Community Enterprise Network in the delivery of the project overall?The total amount of ERDF finance for the grant totals £60,000.00 including VAT.All requests for clarification or further information in respect of this tender should be addressed to info@timebankingwales.org.ukAll responses to questions regarding the tender will be displayed at www.timebankingwales.org.uk under the CEN PQQ tab.
