North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) are working for and on behalf of NHS North Durham Clinical Commissioning Group and NHS Durham Dales, Easington and Sedgefield Clinical Commissioning Group (CCGs), who wish to commission Community Optometry Services within the North Durham, Durham Dales, Easington and Sedgefield localitiesThe contract is for 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years. The initial contract term will commence on 1.4.2019, ending on 31.3.2022. The extension period, which will be awarded at the discretion of the CCGs will commence on 1.4.2022 ending on 31.3.2024.It is anticipated that the Tender documents will be made available to view on the Proactis portal on 19.9.2018.
