The Library and Archive Service of the Welsh Government provides support to policy divisions within the organisation by assisting with retrieving and organising relevant information which supports evidence based policy development, delivery and review. Significantly for this tender Library and Archive Service also provide UK-based Welsh Government staff with direct access to internet based information to allow essential due diligence checks to be made. The resource will be used in a capacity to assist potentially all UK-based staff across the Welsh Government estate, including key service users such as the Grants Monitoring and Inward Investment teams to monitor Welsh and UK based companies who have received assistance from the Welsh Government.The Client is seeking to subscribe to an ‘off-the-shelf’ company information service that provides information on UK registered companies and their directors, and possibly also UK unlimited companies, partnerships and other organisations such as social enterprises, registered charities and their trustees.
