Minesto is developing a 500kW tidal power plant in form of a “flying” kite tethered to the sea floor. Please visit the website www.minesto.com for more information.The contract is for fabrication and delivery of composite struts to the Minesto DG500 Kite. The two struts shall connect the wing to the top joint, and transfer the majority of the tether load.The scope is for 2 main struts and option for spare units.
