Part of the England 2015 Rugby World Cup Event, Cardiff is hosting both some of the games (within the Millennium Stadium) and also a fanzone, next door in Cardiff Arms Park, which will play host to large screens relaying the live matches being played in the stadium, the opening ceremony and any Wales away games. There will also be a selection of other entertainments during the match days and the potential for other commercial events to take place in the space on non-match days.The Fanzone will use the pitch of Cardiff Arms Park with a covered structure with stage and large screen being positioned at one end of the area. The rest of the pitch will be open air to allow for public movement to and from the screens and bar/catering areas (along with tournament sponsors areas)Cardiff Council has appointed two suppliers to operate catering and bar concessions within the Fan zone.
