Connect to Work Supported Employment Programme
Descriptions
Local organisations are invited to an event that will showcase how they can support a new Dorset-wide supported employment programme that will help people with complex needs get into employment.
Connect to Work is a new government-funded programme launched by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). It aims to help individuals who are economically inactive, unemployed, or at risk of losing their jobs due to disabilities, long-term health conditions or other complex barriers to employment. The program provides targeted support to eligible participants and employers, assisting participants in finding and maintaining good quality employment.
Organisations interested in helping Dorset Council and Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole (BCP) Council to develop and deliver the Connect to Work programme are invited to attend an online market engagement event on Friday 8th August 2025 from 10:00 - 11:30. Please register for this event before Friday 8th August 2025 via Eventbrite https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/market-engagement-connect-to-work-supported-employment-service-tickets-1509473368479?aff=oddtdtcreator and joining details will be sent to any registered attendees.
Participation or non-participation in this market engagement event shall not prejudice organisations participating in any future procurement process nor is it intended that any information supplied shall place any organisation at an advantage in any forthcoming procurement process.
