Monmouthshire County Council is seeking to appoint a delivery agent for the 'Connecting Monmouthshire Local Broadband Network' Project. This is a two part project - Development and preparation of Community Broadband Feasibility Studies and management of the installation of Community Broadband Networks. The project seeks to improve rural business productivity and community life by enabling communities to access broadband technology. The development of feasibility studies will be the pre-cursor for the installation of a number of broadband networks. A minimum of four grants of £45k will be made available to facilitate these installations in rural Monmouthshire. The contract is for the undertaking of the feasibility studies and managing the installation - not a contracc for the installation itself.Suppliers are required to register their interest in the opportunity by Friday 16th December 2011 with tenders being received by the deadline of 12.00 noon on Friday 30th December 2011
