Conservation Grazing Fencing, Installation of Stock handling facilities and associated works in the Forest of Dean
Descriptions
The Forestry Commission (as the lead partner of the Foresters’ Forest Heritage Lottery Funded Landscape Partnership programme in the Forest of Dean) is inviting tenders for the supply, delivery and installation of fencing, including mulching the fenceline, and the installation of stock handling facilities. There are two sites which require these works, one at Wigpool and one at Edgehills, which are both on FC land, but being managed by the Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust as nature reserves. At each site, the works will include mulching to prepare the fenceline route, erection of the fence and the creation of a hard standing area (total size 70m2) to accommodate the stock handling facilities. The perimeter fencing at Edgehills is approx 1676m and the two compartments at Wigpool are approx 1015m and 737m (but these must be measured and confirmed by the contractor). Please express your interest in this tender to Sue Middleton at the Coleford office by email or in writing by the 28th October 2015 to allow us to notify you of any questions and answers we may receive.
